This was a whole-backyard commission rather than a single feature, and it was designed as one space from the start. The lap pool anchors the plan, with separate entertaining areas arranged around it so a large group can spread out instead of crowding one patio.
A pool house sits alongside it with an outdoor shower, which is what makes a pool practical rather than just handsome. The outdoor kitchen was specified to a premium level so it carries real cooking rather than a token grill.
Beyond the pool, a four-hole putting green with a sand trap and chipping areas gives the garden something to do when nobody is swimming. Planting and landscape lighting tie the whole thing together and keep it working after dark.
